How much are the rents at TAL?

Rent rates are based on household size and total annual income. Please refer to the ‘Living at TAL’ tab on our website and look for ‘Application Overview’ for additional info on income and rent limits.

Are appliances included with the apartments at TAL?

Yes. All apartments are furnished with a range oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.

Do the apartments at TAL include a washer/dryer or washer/dryer hook up?

No. There will be an onsite laundry room for all tenants of TAL to use.

If I’m a single occupant, can I rent a 2 or 3 bedroom?

Possibly, on a case by case basis, we may allow a spare room.

Are pets allowed at TAL?

Yes. Cats and Dogs, up to 35 pounds, are welcome at TAL. Breed restrictions do apply. Please refer to the ‘Living at TAL’ tab on our website and look for 'Application Overview' for additional info on income and rent limits.

Is parking available at TAL?

Yes. There will be a limited number of onsite parking spaces. Tenants not awarded an onsite parking space can park in the parking lot in the Railyards designated by the Town of Truckee for residential parking, with a parking permit.  Click here for Town of Truckee Downtown Resident Parking map.

What is the smoking policy at TAL?

TAL is 100% non-smoking. There will be outdoor, designated areas on the property for smoking.

If I’m not an artist, can I apply to live at TAL?

Yes, however, due to the high demand at TAL for artist’s housing, we do not expect non-artists to be offered a chance to lease at TAL in our first year; possibly longer.
